Good morning my lovely blog friends and followers - great to see you again! I hope you all had good weekends. Mine was very busy (and hugely productive, which doesn't happen that often!) I have been wading through my mountains of crafting stash... deciding what stays and what goes... and then reorganising it so I know where everything is again! Not an easy task....

So, here is the card I wanted to share with you, do you like it? I made it using the FREE Sale-a-bration stamp set called "Fresh Vintage" - gorgeous isn't it.

It stamps perfectly every time and I think it is so elegant and timeless.
I finished off by decorating the inside with a sentiment that say's it all...

Apron - using "Domestic Goddess" Designer Series Paper

Hello lovely blogger Friends, welcome, it's great to see you. I hope you are having a lovely weekend and enjoying the sunshine the UK is experiencing right now. My washing is out on the line and blowing in the wonderful fresh air - I love how my washing smells when it's been outside drying :)

So here is a card I was asked to make for a Friend's friend. The brief was that she loves to cook, so what better than to make an apron using the "Domestic Goddess" designer series paper (pg98). I also used the stamp set called "Creatively Yours" (pg84) on the pocket, tag and inside the card.

Happy Birthday card using "Delightful Dozens"

Hello and welcome to my blog today! I have an easy Masculine card to show you, what do you think? I was asked by a friend to make a card for her Husband and used his "Nickname"... so here it is.

I used the Happy Birthday stamp from the so versatile stamp set called "Delightful Dozens" and coloured it in two colours using my marker pens. It helps to make it stand out, doesn't it. And then I used the other very masculine stamp set called "Need for speed" to decorate the inside with the car. The sentiment's from Create a cupcake.. I adore this set too!

I decided to add some texture to the card, so after adhering my letters to the whisper white card I grabbed my Stripes embossing folder and ran it through my Big Shot to get the vertical lines, then turned it 90 degrees for the horizontal stripes = chequered effect.

I made a flag tail and added a button from the regal button set tied off with a twine bow.. and Voilà! what do you think? do you like it?

Love and Sympathy.....

Hello gorgeous blog followers... I see I have some lovely newbies - welcome!
So, where did the weekend go?? I must have blinked and missed it as it's already Monday!!!

Here is today card. I saw it on someone's blog (sadly, I can't remember who's, sorry) a while back and I fell in love with the simplicity of it. I don't know about you, but I have needed to make and send far too many this past year or so! I think sympathy cards are so hard to get right, but this one is lovely and would work in so many different colour ways.

Card using "Creative Elements"

Hello again my lovely Blog friends.... how are you today? The sun is shining brightly as I type this, and it's such a welcome sight! It's one day nearer the weekend and I can't wait to do some crafting. Work really does get in the way of my creativity! how rude!!
So, here is today's card, a quick and simple card using the Creative Elements stamp set, I adore this set and will have a go at making some different cards using it, I'll be sure to share them with you later. Happy Valentine's Day my lovely blog friends. I hope you have been spoilt rotten and are being wined and dined later....
Here are 2 cards and a gift box that my fabulous ladies have made in classes I held last week. I hope their other halves will be nicely surprised when they receive these!

The above card was made using the "You are Loved" stamp set. Cherry Cobbler ink, decorative label punch, Whisper white, Cherry Cobbler and Basic Black card stock.

The above card was made using The FREE Sale-a-bration stamp set called "Sprinkled Expressions" and the FREE 12x12" Everyday Enchantment DSP paper. Whisper white and Real Red card stock, 12x12" Red Glimmer paper. Real Red Ink. Full Heart Punch and the Heart to Heart punch.

Zero Calorie Cupcake and box using Mocha Morning DSP

Hello bloggers! Well, it snowed again yesterday, late afternoon and overnight... but thankfully it hasn't caused too much disruption.. yet!

So, here is the other project my Friend asked me to make for his big Sister. This has also made it's way over to Tasmania, and I have had feedback that it was loved! Phew :)

I used the gorgeous Mocha Morning Designer Series Paper (p96) on the box and cupcake... isn't it so luxurious looking.

70th Birthday card using "Mocha Morning" DSP

Hello lovely blog friends! How are you doing today? I hope you're well...
I have been very busy this last week, I held an all day workshop at my home on Saturday where the lovely ladies made a card organiser (pictures to follow), I held a Valentine card class on Monday night and I held my monthly card class on Tuesday... I shall share with you the pictures in the next day or so, once I have uploaded them to my computer!

One of my wonderful friends very kindly asked me to make a special birthday card for his Dad, who is turning 70 this month, and they were travelling from the UK all the way back home to Tasmania to hand deliver the card as a huge birthday surprise! Who was I to refuse such a wonderful surprise, so I got to work and this is what I created.....

I used the gorgeous Stampin Up Designer Series Paper called "Mocha Morning"... and if you have this set of 12x12" papers you'll know what I mean when I say they are very "touchy feely" textures that you just have to stroke!! well, you do!

I used Very Vanilla card stock, and decorated the inside of the card using Early Espresso ink, and the sentiment is from the stamp set called "Create a cupcake" (Spring Mini Catalogue p22), and the image of the car is from the stamp set called "Need for Speed" (Main catalogue p47). It's a great Masculine set... and I have used mine lots already!

I accented the front of the card with Stampin Up's Crystal Effects" (p114) to add dimension to the numbers. And the Birthday sentiment is from the Hostess set called "Happiest Birthday wishes" (Main Catalogue p8). I stamped the envelope using the same stamp set.

I can now say that my work has gone "global"... it's a lovely feeling and so rewarding!! Feel free to leave me a comment, I'd love to know what you think about this card.

Beautiful Wings & Vintage Vogue....

Well, I received so many wonderful comments here on my blog and also on my Facebook page (Lynne Fahey) from yesterdays picture tutorial post, thank you so much, it's always nice to know people are looking and liking what you do! So, I've decided it'll be something I continue with if you'd like me to? I may even try a video post too... But I'll have to psych myself up for that - A LOT!!

So, here is today's card... actually, it was one of the cards the lovely ladies made at my monthly card class I held last week. What do you think? comments welcome.

Butterflies - "Beautiful Wings" Embosslit.

The Embosslit has 5 various size butterflies which all get cut out and embossed in different textures , and I used all 5 of them.

I mounted 2 little ones onto the largest to give it dimension.

Card stock - Baja Breeze, Early Espresso & Whisper White

Stamp - Vintage Vogue

Sentiment - You're a Gem (Mini catalogue)

Ink - Early Espresso

Punch - Dotted scallop ribbon border

This is such a simple card, and quick too. You can turn this card into many occasions simply by changing the sentiment..... "Thank you", "Thinking of you", "Hello", Happy Birthday"... you get the idea :)

Hello - my friend... Stampin' Up's Spring Mini Catalogue

Well hello lovely Blog followers... I can't believe how fast January is going. At this rate I won't have enough time to craft - heaven forbid!!

So today, I want to share with you the swap I made for the "Pink Ladies/Lads" Stampin' Up Demonstrator only Quarterly training held last Sunday (15th Jan 2012) I warn you, there are lots and lots of lovely pretty step-by-step pictures to share with you how I made it. I do hope you like it... it's my first picture tutorial... what do you think? comments greatly appreciated :)

Here is the finished swap...

Step 1 - Stamp the circle in the middle of the Whisper White card stock, I used Baja Breeze ink and then at the "12 o'clock" position stamp the gorgeous single flourish stamp. Both stamps are from the "Charming" set in the Spring mini catalogue.

Step 2 - continue using the single flourish stamp at the 3 o'clock,

6 o'clock and 9 o'clock position

Step 3 - Now fill in the 4 spaces in between the first 4 just stamped

I was making 6 at a time as I had 20 swaps to make!

Step 4 - Now, using the same single flourish stamp, inked up in Island Indigo, stamp in the 8 gaps. It doesn't have to be perfect or line up.

Step 5 - Here you can see I have stamped it 8 times.

When I saw this picture, I thought,

"Ah - this would make great Christmas wreaths"!!

Change the colours to Red and Green and Viola!

Step 6 - I then stamped the "Hello" and "my friend" from the "My Friend" stamp set in Early Espresso.

They are really starting to come together aren't they..

Step 7 - I decided it was missing something in the top left corner, so I used the butterfly from the "Charming" set and worked out where I wanted it using Stampin' Up's Stamp-a-ma-jig... this tool is a must have!

If you want to know more, search on youtube for stamp-a-ma-jig .

I highlighted this screenshot (click on this picture to zoom in and you'll see it better) with a red and white circle to show

you where I wanted the butterfly to go.

Step 8 - Then I stamped the butterfly using Island Indigo

Step 9 - So here you can see the butterfly resting on the tip of the flower.

Step 10 - Mount the Whisper White card stock on to

Baja Breeze card stock.

Step 11 - Finally... cut out the scallop square Bigz clear die

from Early Espresso card stock, and you are done!

Christmas wreath card....

I used the Two-step Bird punch to create the wreath... it took an awful lot of punching, but it I'm sure you'll agree, it was worth it wasn't it!!

Wow, I can't believe there are only 4 more sleeps to go till Santa... where has this month gone to?
Anyway, here are a few cards I made a while back using the "Serene Snowflake" stamp set but haven't shared with you, what do you think?

I decided not to go for Traditional Christmas colours, and I'm really pleased with how they turned out... which one is your favourite? I'd love to hear from you...

Hello again lovely Bloggers!
As promised, here are more pictures from the awesome convention I attended in November with Stampin' Up!

The top left picture is courtesy of Sandie Brian, Shelli was just about to sign my brand new SU! catalogue folder but her pen wasn't working, hence the perplexed looks on both our faces! (Thanks Sandie for the use of the picture!) The other pictures relate to samples, fellow Pink Ladies, 100 swaps received and laid out on my bed, and of course, whilst in Disneyland - Mickey Mouse!!

One of the things that Stampin' Up! like to do is have fun.... and these next pictures are of a game called "Demo Duel" that was a take off of Family Fortunes. There were two teams made up of Demonstrators from germany, France and the UK, and Sandie (wearing the Minnie Mouse ears) was one of the contestants!! We didn't know she was taking part, but once on stage She had us in fits of laughter! Sandie even won a prize of some SU! goodies for answering a question with a "hidden prize". (Hello again Alison! you keep popping up in my pictures.. lol)

As you can see from the pictures, a great time was had by all, and I can wait for next November 2012, when the convention will be held in Mainz, Germany.

Stampin' Up! Convention at Disneyland Paris

Hello lovely Bloggers!
Wow, what a stormy, wet night it was last night.... I'm so glad to see the sun out today, and I even saw a Rainbow on my way in to work.

As promised, here are a few pictures from my very first Stampin' Up! convention, held in Disneyland Paris. I had a wonderful time, as I knew I would... and I had been counting down the months, then weeks, then days until it finally came around!!! There were such wonderful displays everywhere, and they certainly were inspirational... take a look....

Stampin' up! Pillow Box Die - Owl gift box

Hello Lovely Bloggers!!!
Thank you for baring with me and being so patient... and I am so sorry for my lack of blogging. At the end of November I went to my very first Stampin' Up! convention which was held in Disneyland Paris... it was awesome... I will post pictures and my card swap in the next week. And then I busy catching up with work and holding card classes, then 10 days ago I ended up getting ill, and it has knocked me for six!!! (Hopefully, I am on the road to recovery now)

So, to break the blogging silence, here's a quick post to show you the gifts I made for some very special friends... what do you think, do you like them? I'd love to hear from you......

I love how they turned out. These are great for putting money in, or filling with a special gift.. and here are the two labels I made to go on them.

Male card using "Need for Speed" stamp set

Hello lovely blogger friends, and thank goodness it's Friday!!!
I wanted to share with you a card I made using the gorgeously simple stamp set called "Need for Speed".... it's great for simple Male cards, I mean simple cards for males, not simple males, oh, you know what I mean!!! :)

I used Early Espresso card for the card base, Very Vanilla card, Crumb Cake card and Cherry Cobbler card. The sentiment is a set called "Delightful Dozens" and stamped using Cherry Cobbler ink and the card image is from the set called "Need for Speed" stamped using Early Espresso ink. I can see myself using this set lots as it has a plane (fighter jet), Quad bike, Speed boat and the car I've used on this card.

I stamped the main car image in Cherry Cobbler and then to make it stand out, I used Crystal effects. You can see in the picture above how shiny it makes the car look.... I love how simple it is to do. After adding the crystal effects I would set the card aside to dry for a few hours or even overnight, because you don't want to get finger marks on the shiny car!!

Halloween Owl/Bat using the pillow box die

Happy Halloween my lovely blogger friends!

Just a quick post from me today.... busy and up to my eyes in work, but I so wanted to share with you my version of a Halloween Owl/Bat made a few weeks ago using the pillow box die and other Stampin' Up! punches..... I've been saving it to share today.... I am so chuffed with how he turned out after my creative juices started to flow!! what do you think? I'd love to hear your comments.

I also made a Owl/Pumpkin too... I think they are sooooo cute!

Noticeboard using Timeless Portrait material from Stampin' Up!

On the 1st of October I held an Open House at my small but welcoming home, and it was such a lovely hot and sunny day (different to today's weather, it's pouring with rain, again!). I had completely forgotten to show you the pictures I took.... oops!

Look at all the gorgeous the new products I had... plus, I was up at the crack of dawn making cup cakes too!

I also had a go at making a noticeboard from the lush new fabric, yes Stampin' Up! do fabric now!!! I used the Timeless portrait fabric for this project. You get just over a fat quarter of fabric, and there are three in a pack.

I used it to display all the lovely booklets Stampin' Up have. If you'd like to join my team and become a lovely Demonstrator too then I'd love to hear from you and we can talk about the perks and discounts. I can say that since joining in December 2010 my life has been enriched in so many ways... I've met some wonderful demos, learnt new techniques, got crafting goodies at a discount and become part of a huge crafting family called Stampin' Up!

Owls from the Bigz L "Pillow Box" Die from Stampin' Up!

Hello once again lovely Bloggers!
As I mentioned in my previous post, I went to the Pink Ladies quarterly training last Sunday and had a blast! I was asked last minute if I would do an "Inspiration Station" as someone sadly had to pull out... and I sad YES! (why oh why do I put myself under so much pressure?!!) Anyway, it seems I did some of my best work whilst under pressure this time, and that's a first for me!
I chose to use the Pillow Box die from Stamping Up as it's often overlooked as a little boring and limited. Well, I hope after you see the pictures that is more than just a box, it can be almost anything you want it to be...

Above, you can see a few of my owl designs. I did a Boy in blue, Girl in pink (including eyelashes!), A Santa, a Pumpkin... and I will post pictures tomorrow of the Bat owl I made. I will also post how I made them so you can do these too!
I also roped my Boss into the equation... and asked him to cut down some twisted ficus branches that overhang his garden so I could make a wonderful display for them all to sit in :)

I love the idea that you can fill them with sweets, money or a present for birthdays, new baby arrivals, Christmas, Halloween, or just to say "I haven't forgotten you!!"

Precious Butterflies from Stampin' Up!

Hello again Lovely bloggers! How are you doing today??
Well, what a week it's been since I last blogged... Works been busy and so has life outside work (which makes a change!) Last Tuesday (11th Oct) I went to London with some dear friends to see Josh Groban in concert at the HMV Hammersmith Apollo. All I can say is WOW! he is awesome, gorgeous, and a few tears were shed at certain songs that he sung just for me... (I wish) :)
Also, last Sunday (16th Oct) I attended the Pink Ladies Quarterly training in Bicester, and as usual, a great day was had by all. I was asked to do an "Inspiration Station" a week before (as someone couldn't make it, sadly), so it was a very mad panic and rush to get my projects done in time... but I'll be posting pictures later in the week, so please do pop back and see what the fruits of my labour produced!

Anyhow.... enough waffling... you want to see cards! So, here is today's card I made for two lovely new customers of mine, Thank you Sam and Doreen, I can hear the new punches working overtime from here!! =0)

I used the new in-colour called Wisteria Wonder as the card base, and Elegant Eggplant as the accent. The stamp is a Hostess set called "Precious Butterflies", the ruffled ribbon is brand new too, called Lucky Limeade, and so is the scallop circle die called "Perfect Pennants" Bigz L die. And accented with a few Basic Pearls for the subtle bling effect!

The inside is stamped using another Hostess set called "Tagtastic"

I made the second card the same, except I reversed the colours and used Elegant Eggplant for the circle of butterflies and stamped the sentiment in Wisteria Wonder.

Another card using Delicate Doilies from Stampin' Up!

Hello again my lovely blogger friends! I am sharing another Delicate Doilies card with you today, I just love this set.... and at the moment my set is at a friends house because I left it at hers by accident a few weeks ago :( and I can't wait to be reunited with it on Sunday!

I used all the new In-colours on this card and I love how it turned out. It shows how easy and simple it is to use up all your scraps and off cuts.

New stamp set called "Delicate Doilies" from Stampin' Up!

Hello my lovely Blogger Friends! I hiope you are okay today? Thank you for being so patient with me, as it's been over a week since I last blogged. Things have been so busy in this time, what with the Stampin' Up catalogue release, my Open House and my Birthday!!

Without further a do, here is a simple and stunning card I made using the brand new stamp set called "Delicate Doilies". I love how it turned out, and the intricate stamp impression is perfect every time. I think it's a must have in any crafters stash!!

I used the new In-Colour called Island Indigo for the Delicate Doilie stamping, Early Espresso for the card base, and Lucky Limeade (another new In-Colour) for the border using the eyelet border punch. I used the off cuts to make a co-ordinating background to the sentiment... cool huh?!

This is such a fast card to make, and it could be for any occasion. I used the sentiment stamp from "For Everything". I coloured the Thanks in using my In-Colour marker pens in Lucky Limeade, and finished off using Scallop dots ribbon in Chocolate Chip.

Curly Christmas Wreath using Stampin' Up! Jolly Holiday DSP...

Good morning All, it looks such a miserable day out there, but they say it'll brighten up later... lets hope so!
On Saturday, I held my very first home workshop. I was so excited and not at all nervous. And the lovely Ladies attending got to make a curly Christmas wreath using the gorgeous, but sadly retired "Jolly Holiday" designer series papers by Stampin' Up! I made a whole batch of cupcakes and decorated them, but in all the excitement I forgot to photograph them! D'oh!!!

I must say, it was a very relaxed class, we had such a laugh, and with Tea, Coffee and cupcakes... what more could you ask for on a wet and rainy Saturday afternoon??

Hopeful Thoughts... I'm here for you.

Hello my lovely blog followers! How are you?
It's been so wet and windy here this week... not so much today, we have bright sunshine at the moment. And I have lost count of how many times I have chased my plastic greenhouse around my garden over the past few days/nights even after securing it down with bricks! I think it has a touch of Houdini in it!!

I decided to make a brighter version of it, what do you think, which do you prefer? I'd love to know your comments...

I love the fact that I have been able to transform plain white ribbon into a matching accent, purely by using marker pens in the same colour as the card stock. Give it a try, it really isn't that difficult, and let me know how you get on.

Stampin' Up! Gift Vouchers....

A while back it was a very dear Friends birthday. Her family asked if I would make a Stampin' Up! gift voucher for her so she could treat herself. I used the "Color Coach" to get this colour combination, and here is what I came up with.

I made a matching envelope too...

Plus, I made a gift voucher one from me as well, because She was my very first Customer and I will never forget that, thank you!!

And for this one I took inspiration from a box I made. I love the autumn colours, don't you?

Card box using Circle Circus.....

Good morning crafty peeps! Well today is another busy day at work, but going well so far (fingers crossed it continues). I thought I would share with you a box I adapted from a template I brought from the lovely and very talented Val Moody. I needed it to fit in many more cards, so I tweaked it and here's the finished project!

My Boss' Daughters birthday was early August and I wanted to make her a gift that was not only nice to look at, but also very practical... so filling it was so many assorted cards meant she would never be caught out if it was someone's birthday! Well that's the plan anyway... So here is a close up of the front panel. The recipient loved the boxed filled with 20 cards and envelopes, and I know I will be making so many more boxes like this one! Thank you Val for the inspiration!

I'm here for you.....

Hello bloggers! I hope you are all well. I am really looking forward to this weekend as it's a Bank Holiday weekend here in the UK. I have my fingers crossed that it doesn't rain! I want to share with you a very quick and simple card I made recently, what do you think?

I love the simplicity and crispness of how it looks, and it really was so easy to do. I coloured the very plain, whisper white satin ribbon with co-ordinating Stampin' Up marker pens and turned it striped using a ruler and the pens.

I even decorated the inside a little to follow the theme all the way through the card. And as you can see, the sun was pouring into my front room whilst I was snapping away... and for me, I can't help but smile and feel energised when the sun is out!

Birthday Card using Baby Blossom....

Morning lovely bloggers! Today I want to share with you a card I made for a very dear friend of mine who was celebrating her birthday last weekend. Since She is a classy lady so I felt a classy card was in order, so I reached for the Baby Blossom stamp set and gorgeous seam binding ribbon from the mini catalogue.

I decorated the inside with a few simple flowers to carry the theme throughout the card.

Cute box using Cottage Garden and Sweet & Sour papers....

Hello again lovely blogger friends.... I hope this post finds you well.
So, here is today's project, a cute box made from the "Sweet & Sour" 12x12" double sided designer series papers (DSP). How can you not smile when you see these gorgeous bright colours together?

This is so quick and easy to make, and can be changed in length to fit whatever you are putting inside. I put a packet of "Love Heart Sweets" inside this one.

Another card using French Foliage...

Hello again lovely Bloggers! How was your weekend? I had a very busy one with not much time for resting or enjoying the gorgeous weather we had, but when needs must you have to put your head down and just get on with it, don't you!!
I missed not crafting this weekend, I was too busy travelling to IKEA in Wembley to get some large items that the Milton Keynes branch no longer stock... and once back home I had to rearrange my front room so much that my craft space is now under heaps of paperwork, mess and "stuff" that I have to take time to sort out.. argh!

So, here is today's card....

I adore the French Foliage stamp set as it's so versatile and can be masculine or feminine. And I love the Autumnal colours I used here.... can you tell how much I love this set yet!??

And I decorated the inside of the card too, so it tied in with the front...

I thought I'd share with you another take on the gorgeous "Zero Calorie" cupcake...... Chocolate!!! well, it had to be didn't it.

Scissors holder using Sweet & Sour paper.....

Happy Monday everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend? I did... I went to the PINK LADIES (The Stampin' Up Team I am in as a Demonstrator) quarterly training in Oxfordshire and had a blast... it's so lovely to catch up with fellow demonstrators and lovely customers too. We were all wow'd by several demonstrators showing us tips and techniques and inspiration stations of ideas and samples, followed by business training and a wonderful set of crafting projects to make whilst there. I was so busy running around selling raffle tickets that I realised when I got home that I hadn't taken a single photo of the day! sorry.... Gift Voucher card using Bella Toile.....

Good morning All, I hope you are having a good Thursday so far? It's lovely and sunny outside at the moment, lets hope it lasts for the weekend.
Anyway, here is today's card, which is actually a Stampin' Up! gift voucher that a very good friend of mine asked me to make for her friend who has just found a passion for crafting! So, who was I to deny them their request?! I CASed several blogs to see what other people do as a gift voucher and this is what I came up with, it's an amalgamation of several I saw :)
I had to wait until after her birthday so as not to spoil her surprise as I have been told she follows my blog every now and then!

I had only just got the background stamp called "Bella Toile" and I thought it would be perfect for this card. It stamps up beautifully, I didn't have any problems with it not being a perfect impression first time... I'm sold on this stamp, can you tell?! I also wanted to use the Curly Cute set as I love the font, and unbeknown to me, this is the stamp set that the voucher recipient is undecided about buying.... how spooky is that!!

3rd card using "Fast and Fabulous".... Hostess level 2 set

Well it's Monday already, where did that weekend go?! I hope you all had a lovely weekend, mine was good. I went to a crafting workshop on Saturday and met some lovely ladies *waves* and then spent yesterday doing household chores before sitting and watching the British F1 Grand Prix on BBC1, wow, what a race!!

Anyway, here is the card I'm sharing today. It uses the Hostess Level 2 stamp set which as you know by now, you can't buy but you can earn it if you host a workshop with me... Contact me if you are interested in earning even more FREE product this month!!

I have gone for a very simple, clean card which is really easy to recreate. The frame is from the Christmas set called "Welcome Christmas" and I only inked up the border using my Early Espresso marker pen and left the wording off... so you see, a Christmas stamp set isn't just for Christmas! ;)

Card using "Thanks for Caring"....

I have had to make several "Sympathy" cards lately, and this is one I made using one of the stamps from the "Thanks for Caring" set. Sometimes less is more... and I am happy with how this turned out.

Stampin' Up Supplies used:
Stamp set - Thanks for Caring
Ink - Marker pens - More Mustard, Early Espresso
Card Stock - Early Espresso, More Mustard, Very Vanilla
Embossing Folder - Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder
Punches - 1 1/4" square large punch (used at an angle to create the triangle)
Accessories - Paper trimmer, SNAIL Adhesive, Dimensionals.

Because I wanted to highlight the word "Sympathy" I used the More Mustard marker pen first and then used Early Espresso to colour the remainder of the stamp. Don't forget to huff (that's a very technical term!!) on the inked stamp before stamping it on the paper or it'll dry out and won't give you a nice clean image!

Another card using "Fast and Fabulous".... Hostess level 2

Hello again fellow Bloggers, it's finally Friday!! wow, what a week I've had... and this weekend is the F1 British Grand Prix at Silverstone, my neck of the woods. So it's going to be crazy busy on the roads and sky, lets just hope we get some lovely weather!

Anyway, enough waffling.. let me show you the card!

I am really loving using this stamp set. I think it gets over looked and I'd love it if I got to convert any of you into reaching for this and wanting to use it. The only way to own it is by hosting a workshop with enough sales for stamps in the level 2 bracket... Fast and Fabulous.... Hostess level 2 set

Hello Bloggers! Thanks for popping by again. It's been crazy busy at work lately, so my crafting has had to take a back seat, sadly! However, last weekend I had two awesome friends over to craft and I managed to make a few cards!
I made today's card using the Hostess Level 2 stamp set called "Fast and Fabulous". It's a stamp set I haven't used before, but I adore the way it turned out so I'll be using it a lot more so watch out, let me know what do you think...

If you take a closer look at the card (picture below) you can see the detail this stamp set has. The flower is a two step stamp, 1) solid flower 2) outline of flower, although you don't have to use both of them together.

I had Sandie Brain, a Stampin' Up demonstrator and fellow Pink Lady over to craft at mine on Sunday, and I asked to borrow her French Foliage stamp set as it's not one I own (yet!). We trawled through a few pages of images that used this set, and Teneale's post jumped out. I love her blog, she inspires me so much! The sun is out, the Tennis from Wimbledon is on the TV, and after this post I'm going to craft!

Today's card I'm sharing with you was made for my Boss' Granddaughter who is so into the colour pink, as most little girls are. So I think I definitely met the brief on this one. I hope she loves it....

I had to make the card wider that I would normally in order to fit all the letters of her name on it.
This meant I needed to make an envelope too!

Artistic Etchings and Medallion card......

Welcome back and thanks for stopping by again..... Oh, and a very Happy Father's Day to all the Dad's in the UK! Here is today's creation...

I made the background a while ago... It just kept evolving the more I played, and I was using colours I don't usually grab for and I liked it but didn't know what to do with it to take it to the "next level", do you know what I mean? So it stayed half finished until I knew how I wanted to complete it. It reminds me of stained glass windows and I found myself just staring at it and smiling!

Here is a close up.

I used some of the discarded offcut strips to decorated the inside of the card.

I didn't want the sentiment to out shine or stand out too much from the gorgeous effect the medallion stamp had created so I used the Tiny Tag stamp set an punch to finish it off subtly, I think it worked well.

Thank you for coming back to my blog today. So, what do you think to today's crafty creation? I am please with how it finally turned out, and the more I look at it the it grows on me. And don't you just love the shimmery background, it takes away the starkness and yet still remains manly...

I remembered my camera lead today so here is my very long overdue card to share with you. It's very bright and cheery so you may need your sunglasses! I think it'll make up for the silence... won't it?

On bank holiday Monday I went crafting at my friend Claire's, a fellow SU demonstrator and Pink Lady.

I got to play with her En Francais background stamp which I hadn't got... and I LOVE IT!!! (Thanks Claire). It's on my shopping list to buy when I place my next order :) As you can see from the pictures, it stamps perfectly and doesn't distort the text even when embossed, I was so impressed.

Zero calorie Cupcake!!

Good morning lovely bloggers! So, what do you think to a zero calorie cupcake?? If only, eh!
I went to a crafting Re-Treat weekend back in April this year and we were shown how to make a cupcake at one of the classes. I loved it so much I made another one at the weekend.... I think these make wonderful trinket/jewellery boxes, money boxes, or even gorgeous bright coloured ornaments on any shelf or mantle piece.

Stampin' Up supplies used:

Cardstock - Very Vanilla
Flower - Fancy flower extra large punch
Buttons - Bright collection
Tag - Jewelry tag medium punch
Scallop - Scallop border punch
Sentiment - Tiny tag stamp set

Icing - Crystal effects,Pink,white reinkers

It really is very simple, therapeutic and the outcome is so stunning.

Here is a close-up of the flower on the top of the cupcake, and the picture below is how it looks when it's open. I love that you can still see the pattern through the glass of the double sided paper.

Strength and Hope...

Hello fellow bloggers. I hope you had a lovely weekend. I managed to craft most of Saturday and I loved it!

I made a batch of cards which I shall be sharing with you throughout this week, so stay tuned....

This is one of those stunning but simple cards, and I adore the way it has turned out. I have been seeing this stamp set on many blogs and they all look great.

Baby Blossom and Four Frames card...

Hello, and Happy Easter to you all, I hope you are having a lovely long weekend... I know I am!

We made this card at the Workshop I held on Saturday. I saw it and fell in love with it, so CASE'd it to share the love! The ladies also loved making the card and added their own little twist to it, which is what I love about card making... we can use the same products but the end result is so different as we all do it in our own way. No right or wrong!

Pocket Silhouette..... Friend to Friend card

Good morning bloggers!
Wow, what great weather we are having at the moment in the UK.. . shame I have been indoors at work, so I just hope it lasts over the Easter Bank holiday weekend when I'm off!

This is such a quick and simple card to make, and anyone receiving this will love it!
You don't have to be precise at all when stamping the flowers, the more random the better the effect I think. So this card is for any level of crafting ability.

Silhouette Sentiments... level one Hostess set

Good morning All... it's nearly Friday, but where has this week gone?
Here are two cards I made using the beautiful stamp set called "Silhouette Sentiments" which is a level one Hostess set. That means you can't buy it, but if you hold a workshop with me and the sales are £150 or more you can chose this set for free or there are a few others too! Great isn't it.. choosing FREE stamps :)

The card above is done using reds and browns.... and reminds me of poppies and is a very stunning look. As it doesn't have any raised layers of sentiments etc., it is a quick and easy card to make and and pop in the post. At the moment I seem to be making quite a few sympathy or thinking of you cards and this set is perfect.

The card above is done using blues and browns, and gives a softer look I think.

I can't tell you how much fun I have been having playing with all the goodies I brought from the new Mini Catalogue... Here is another quick and simple card that would look great on anyone's mantle piece!

I had an Open House to launch the Mini Catalogue last week, and these are some of the samples I laid out to help inspire... (not that you need much once you take a peek inside the cover!) and I wanted to treat all the lovely Ladies who were coming along, so I made these yummy cupcakes at 7.30am that morning! I can tell you, they went down a treat, not to mention how gorgeous they made my house smell..

Fun Flowers.... birthday card

I made this card a while back but I couldn't show it until the mini catalogue had been launched.... so here it is, a birthday card made using the gorgeous Fun Flowers bigz die exclusive to Stampin' Up!

This card is so easy to make but very effective. It can be "dressed up" or down for any occasion, and looks great in all colours :) This is one of those dies that won't be gathering dust on my work station I can assure you! Good morning everyone... here is another one of my samples I made for my recent "Open House" for the launch of the Mini Catalogue. I love the simple lines and matching colours, and you could easily change the monogram to fit whoever you were making the card for. It's a great way of using up the 'left over' pieces of card stock we all have (and people who know me well can vouch that I keep my scraps in a file organiser in colour order, does that make me sad or just well organised?!)

Patchwork "Thank you so much" card using new mini catalogue items...

Finally, the new Stampin' Up mini catologue is here!!! I don't know about you, but from the moment I saw it I wanted it all, NOW! There is so much more in this years edition.. and we have been spoilt by Stampin' Up bringing us the Big Shot along with so many gorgeous exclusive dies.

Isn't this card adorable?? I made the background from left over scraps of the brand new "Springtime Vintage" 12x12" double sided paper from the new Mini Catalogue, well, waste not want not.... I 'sandwiched' it through a Stampin' Up! Exclusive embossing folder called "Square Lattice" to create the textured background, which I think makes it look like a patchwork quilt, what do you think?

As soon as I saw the "Beautiful Butterflies" Bigz die (another SU exclusive die) I knew I just had to have it! I used Baja Breeze cardstock and more springtime vintage paper and layered them up to create the two-toned butterfly. I used one of the stamps from the "Four Frames" stamp set to create the sentiment border and punched it out using the decorative label punch... how simple is that, no cutting out and perfect every time! I finished it off with a few pearls and viola, it was complete!
